We were donated cork fabric from a purse company and upholstery fabric samples from Springs Creative in Rock Hill. Hmm…what to do? Make clutches! These lovely clutches are sewn by our Level 2 sewing students who earn income when you purchase. Each foldover clutch measures 9 1/2″ by 11″ and is a way to both empower refugee women AND support upcycling, creating beauty from castaways.
One fun fact about these clutches – fabrics were chosen by our seamstresses! They decided on the color combinations, the zippers, the lining.
