Come learn how to sew a stocking and enjoy Christmas tea & treats. In this holiday sewing class, we’ll have precut stocking patterns in a variety of fabrics so you can pick & choose to make a custom stocking. And what’s even better? By coming to make a stocking, you’ll also be giving the Christmas gift of free vocational training (with childcare included!) for refugee women in Charlotte.
To sew, you must have used a sewing machine before, as we won’t be teaching sewing machine skills – this project is great for beginners+ who have some sewing experience. This sewing workshop is appropriate for children ages 10 and up as well, as long as they have some familiarity with a sewing machine. Please reach out with any questions.
