Helping Without Hurting Seminar, March 1st 2014

A book that has had a powerful impact on my life is When Helping Hurts by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert. This book, along with Tim Keller's Generous Justice, helped me realize that one, it's incredibly important for Christians to be involved in poverty alleviation; and two, many of the strategies and even underlying attitudes we bring to the table in this quest are hurtful.

I could write quite a bit about all I learned from the book (and might in a future post), but you'll gain more hearing directly from the authors! If you live in the Charlotte area, you'll have that chance. Dr. Brian Fikkert will be conducting a seminar on March 1st, from 8:30-4:30. You must register here and tickets are $40. If you are interested at all in poverty issues, the seminar will be well worth your time.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.

Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or
two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
